What Baan Pinto collects, where it is kept, who can see it, and when it is deleted. Written from how the app actually works.

1Who is responsible
Baan Pinto is operated by Royal Chef Company Limited, registered in Thailand under business registration number 0745568000704, at 108/90, Mu 7, Khok Kham Sub-district, Mueang Samut Sakhon District, Samut Sakhon Province. We decide how the information below is used.

2What we collect

We never ask for a national identity number, a bank account or a card. Money moves directly between neighbours by PromptPay and never through us.
3Who can see what
Anyone
- Your name, photo, join date, badges and reputation
- Your district, and an approximate circle on the map
- Your listings, and reviews once they are published
Nobody but you
- Your exact address and map point. The circle others see is snapped to the middle of a 330-metre square, so it is honest about being an area rather than a doorstep.
- The home location you save when you set your neighbourhood.
One person
- The exact meeting spot, once you have ordered.
- A delivery address and phone, to that cook only.
- Messages, to the two people in that order or trade.
Most of this is enforced by the database rather than by the screens, so a page cannot show what it was not meant to.
4Verifying your profile
Verification is optional. It is only needed to list a second-hand item above ฿5,000.
- You take one photo of your face in the app. No identity document is ever asked for.
- It goes to a private store nobody can read from — not other members, and not you after you send it.
- A person looks at it beside your profile photo and decides. No software compares faces.
- The photo is deleted the moment that decision is made.
- What remains is the date you were verified. Change your profile photo and the badge goes, because it was about that picture.
5Where it is kept
Baan Pinto runs on services outside Thailand, so your information is transferred abroad:

6How long we keep it
- A verification photo: until the decision, usually hours. Then deleted.
- Everything else: as long as your account exists.
- A notification subscription: until you turn notifications off on that device.
- An email you send us: a year after it is dealt with.
You can delete your account from Me at any time. Your name, photo, LINE link, location, listings and saved items go. Reviews neighbours wrote about you and the orders you shared with them stay, on a record that no longer names you — they are those neighbours' history as much as yours.
7Your rights
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act you can ask to see what we hold, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, restrict or object to how it is used, and withdraw consent. Write to hello@baanpinto.life and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee.
8On your device
Cookies keep you signed in. The app remembers small things locally, like the tab you were last on. There is no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracker.
9Age
Baan Pinto is not intended for anyone under 20.
